Intern Responsibilities
A primary responsibility of all interns is responding to messages/requests from CDG Community through emails and social media. All interns spend time responding to the questions asked shared through these platforms.
Additionally, interns may work in some of the following areas:
Multichannel support
- Plan, write, and schedule all the content we share on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn each week.
- Update and write https://www.worldcdg.org/ content
- Identify topics of interest for our community and write content for our Newsletter
Supporter Engagement
- Partnerships and collaborators (identification and maintenance)
- Event planning support
Office Administration
- Supporter mail
Interns may also have opportunities to represent WCDGO at events, such as awareness congresses, trainings, and so forth.
Requirements
We’re looking for people who are flexible, creative, hardworking, and have a heart for the issues we speak to. You might be a good fit for our intern program if you:
- Are at least 18 years old (by the application deadline)
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills, computer literacy, and thorough knowledge of the Internet
- Knowledge and familiarity with the use of databases/excel
- Work well both independently and as part of a community
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

Details
We have three intern terms: Fall, Spring, and Summer. Our interns work remotely or at the headquarters of the CDG & Allies PPAIN, from Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, or 40 hours a week. (Occasional weekend hours may be necessary). The internship is unpaid. Specific start and end dates for upcoming terms are listed below. All dates subject to change before term.
