CDGs are a group of 150 serious rare, chronic and incurable genetic conditions which cause physical and intellectual disability. CDGs present unique and complex daily challenges. The World CDG Organization supports affected individuals and families throughout its team of dedicated collaborators and researchers, providing a lifeline for affected families.

Situation
The field of CDG suffers from an enormous deficit of medical and scientific knowledge. CDG & Allies PPAIN leads impressive progress, which shows that we must not give up the fight, but on the contrary, continue and step up efforts in the fields of research and social solidarity. Solution
As the only charity and research network leading CDG families centric research and supporting individuals and families affected by CDG, we offer the specialist support, information and research that our community needs to make informed decisions, whether about treatment, education or benefits. Over the next 2 years we want to expand our patient services and research activities to meet the increasing demand of our CDG community members.
